How do i invest my money?

King Bringle: You can invest your money in low risk or high risk investments. For example, low risk investments include:-GIC's-Bonds (so long as they are from reputable goverments)High risk includes:-Futures-stocks-options-mutual fundsThe difference between high risk and low risk, is that the low risk give you guaranteed returns. It used to be, that for 1million dollars, you could pretty much get a guaranteed return of 10%. Now, it's more like 3% to 5%. High risk investments mean the world is your oyster. Just remember, oysters ain't predators and I eat them up like candy. So, "unless you're a shark, don't fight with the big boys" is the message I'd like to convey. When deciding how to invest your money, consider the following:-how much money do i have to invest?-how much am i looking to make?-how much would i be willing to lose on a venture?-how much work/time am i willing to put into investing?-what would happen if i lost all my money? All that being said, I listed mutual ! funds in the high risk category. There are some fairly reliable and high quality mutual funds you can buy. Buying mutual funds means you don't have to do much work after your initial selection process. A well chosen mutual fund can provide substantial returns in the long run. Just don't trust anyone (like a bank financial adviser, or even any regular financial adviser, to choose for you. Do your own research. If you're interested in more aggressive and high risk investments, be prepared to do A LOT of research on your own. And expect to pay dearly in trial and error. Also, be prepared to commit years of time to learning how to make big money. That is, of course, if aggressive high risk investments are something that you'd like to pursue....Show more
