Shemeka Laker: SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM, NO DEAL!!! tell that cheating buttwipe that you do not buy any car unless you see it, test drive it for at least 30 to 40 minutes and take it to your mechanic. It says right on craigslist all overs to ship cars are 100 percent fraudulent, there are many crooks out there, who will take your money, and that's the last you ever see of it. Deal only with people local enough to drive to see the car, no email b s or any of the other con games they play AND DON'T CLICK ON SOME STUPID, MISSPELLED EMAIL WITH DUMB REQUESTS, YOU CAN get a virus which can trap ANY PERSONAL OR BANKING information on your computer. Think about this for just a second, who sells a car for thousands less than its worth, then pays EXTRA TO SHIP IT TO YOU??? THEY COULD WALK INTO ANY DEALER AND GET 3 TIMES THAT CASH, AND WALK OUT. there are all kinds of con games, like my brother went to Afghanistan and I have to sell m! y pud mobile, because aunt edna is too fat to get into the airplane!!! (makes no sense) keep your money in your pocket, and tell the scammers you called interpol on them , whatever but don't put down any money...Show more
Sheree Hipwell: Of course it's a scam. The only proper way to buy a car on craigslist is to go see it and test it IN PERSON, and make sure that there is a clean title for it BEFORE you hand over any money. There is no such thing as buying a car and having it "shipped to you", that would cost thousands, and is always a scam.
Stan Conley: SCAM
Renita Sefton: yes its a scam!
Cherry Stampka: Big letters on the top of craigslist, it is impossible to miss:* OFFERS TO SHIP CARS ARE 100% FRAUDULENTYOU ARE NOT AN EXCEPTION.How to avoid craigslist scams: * DEAL LOCALLY WITH FOLKS YOU CAN MEET IN PERSON - follow this one simple rule and you will avoid 99% of the scam attempts on craigslist. * NEVER WIRE FUNDS VIA WESTERN UNION, MONEYGRAM! or any other wire service - anyone who asks you to do so is a! scammer. * FAKE CASHIER CHECKS & MONEY ORDERS ARE COMMON, and BANKS WILL CASH THEM AND THEN HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE when the fake is discovered weeks later. * CRAIGSLIST IS NOT INVOLVED IN ANY TRANSACTION, and does not handle payments, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification" * NEVER GIVE OUT FINANCIAL INFORMATION (bank account number, social security number, eBay/PayPal info, etc.) * AVOID DEALS INVOLVING SHIPPING OR ESCROW SERVICES and know that ONLY A SCAMMER WILL "GUARANTEE" YOUR TRANSACTION.More information here:http://seattle.craigslist.org/about/scams...Show more
