Rodolfo Merel: No better coverage needed. you'll want a credit card to lease a vehicle. practically all credit enjoying cards grant condo coverage. understand that many places require you to be 25 to lease a vehicle. And in case you haven't any longer have been given a credit card, they'll want to ascertain adequate deposit. be sure you have the money on your debit card obtainable. call the vehicle condo business enterprise and ask.
Coleman Senn: If the vehicle is available for his regular use then he has to go on the policy. It won't cover him otherwise. The insurer would probably find this information out in the event of an accident and void the coverage on the grounds that misrepresentation was made in the application for insurance. Then you and he get stuck with the bill for the damages he caused. If you own a car that you allow another person to use occasionally but it's not made available to them anytime they want it (for their "regular use") then your coverage! will usually still apply. You'll need to read the section of the policy where it gives a definition for "insured", and the exclusions section. All in all what you're considering is a bad idea. It's better just to get him his own policy and maybe help him pay for it. That way you're not stapled to him and dragged into anything that happens with him....Show more

Monica Voltin: Get and compare quotes from different companies at - INSURERATES.INFO-RE Other Drivers On Car Insurance Liability Policy? I want to add my little brother's car to my car insurance policy. If I add the car, under my name, but do not add the actual driver (my brother), what risks am I taking? If he is driving a car that is insured under my name and he gets in an accident where he is at fault, will the other person's damages still be covered by my insurance? I know that with liability insurance he would be SOL for his car, but I don't want to get stuck pa! ying for someone else's car if he crashed and it was under my ! name. Please shine some light on this for me....Show more

Burt Stoecklin: it doesn't work that wa! y. You don't/can't add someone else's car to your policy (or any policy) Unless it is a fleet policy (used by owners of an entire fleet of vehicles). Each vehicle must be insured on it's own with it's own separate policy. . If you insure HIS car in your name, you would be committing insurance fraud and in the event of a claim, there would be no coverage and you and bro. could go to jail.
