Laveta Fathy: a ski/snowboard rail will scratch up your skis as well. I had a new board last year and the first day i started riding rails/boxes i had all kinds of scratches in it
Cedric Grimstead: Theres no "Safe" rail or box that will not do damage, it's hit or miss, you could hit it 500 times and have no problems or hit it once and take a gouge to your base core..
Filiberto Ranalli: doesn't matter what the rail is designed for, most will eventually beat up your skis, depending on how much you slay rails. it depends on how you hit it, most times there is little to no damage, but there could be big damage qucikly. its the price you pay.
