Jarrod Darnall: I wouldn't waste my money on any of those. ANY HTiB that has the player & amp in one chassis is not worth buying. Go for separates. You will be happier in the long run.
Lashawnda Anteby: My suggestion, don't do it. There are much better choices in home theater systems. Let me guess you have a Samsung or Philips TV and you want to buy the same brand of surround sound system because you think it will work better if its the same brand, or it will match the TV. One you don't want to buy a all in one system. Two, because these systems are so cheap, they use very cheap parts, and when they break (and they will), do you think you would spend the money to have them fixed ? No you will end up seeing how much it is to have fixed and end up having to buy a whole new system, or buy a receiver to work with the speakers it came with. Third you cant hook up the equipment the way you want or need it to because of the limitation in the system. And most importa! ntly it sounds like crap and your trying to convince yourself it sounds good when it really doesn't because of spending your hard earned cash on the system. Or you just don't know better, and if it works that's all your care about.Do some homework, read some reviews (Although there is even allot of miss information from "so called professionals", so read from the better magazines like Absolute Sound and Stereophile. ) and learn before you buy what makes better equipment and speakers.What you want is a system that actually sounds good, will work reliably, and you will then have a system you will be proud to own, and not waist your hard earned money.A good system will consist of speakers from a manufacture that specializes in just making speakers as they put more thought and design into speakers that sound good to their ears. Electronics that use high quality parts, and have just the features you need as this will keep your costs down, and the simpler the better for sound r! easons. Remember the simpler the circuit and the least amount! of stages or features that the signal goes though to degrade the sound. Buy a amplifier that complements the sound of the speakers as all speakers and equipment have their own sonic signature of sound, so its combining speakers and equipment that create a sound that sounds natural and not fatiguing or boring.The best systems are going to be the ones that sound good to your ears and in the room it is played in, and at the budget you can initially afford, but maybe leave room for upgrading so you can really have a system that exceeds your expectations.Stay away from the chain stores as 98% of the equipment they carry is low end anyway, go and discover your local independent high end audio video store as they carry the better brands of speakers and equipment.
