Need help I have PDAS next week!!!?

Simona Bulwinkle: Make sure to go through the lesson cycle, i.e. anticipatory set, state objectives, go through lessons, wrap up by repeating objectives.Make sure to reference past learning and show some sort of technology if you can.Teach students some sort of response system (like thumbs up/thumbs down) that doesn't involve you having to call on all (or most of them) to demonstrate learning.Be sure to show some sort of response to disruptive students to show that you have discipline rituals in place.Consider letting the lesson stop at various times so that students can turn to their nearest partner and discuss upcoming questions (don't do this for the first time if you've never done this before). Make sure you've got all of your materials organized very well.***Make sure you use wait time to let students think about the question before you call on one to answer. If you know you have a reluctant or slow learner, show the principal that you still value that child's inpu! t by telling the student that you will be calling on him or her in a few minutes to tell you the answer to (whatever), so you want the child to be thinking about the question and you look forward to his/her ideas on the subject.Good luck....Show more
